Production Material Handler

Title: Production Material Handler
Location: Oldsmar FL
Shift: 8-4:30 pm
Mon-Friday (occasional OT)
SOW: Supporting the Production Team and the Production Supervisor being responsible for timely movement of materials, supplies and product within a production environment. Assumes responsibility of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while maintaining safety protocols.
Job Duties:
- Use of Forklift/ Pallet Jack
- Ensures timely movement of Product and Component availability within the production environment.
- Verifying proper materials are supplied and all documentation is proper and accurate.
- Ensure proper loading and packaging of materials and they move through the production environment.
- Clean and Sanitize manufacturing area.
- Assist production operators as needed
- Prepare and organize materials needed from Warehouse
- Support safety initiatives
Ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years of warehouse experience preferably in a pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry.
Candidate will have an understanding of:
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
SOP's (Standard Operation Procedures)
Requirements:
– Close toed shoes
– Ability to wear PPE
– Lifting up to 75lbs
– Ability to work 45% standing, 10% Sitting, 45% Walking
– Ability to read, use and be trained to use a scale, computer, pallet jacks, forklifts and other laboratory equipment.
