Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI w CI Poly

Operates within a team of four ISSO's to provide cybersecurity for a Trojan system of systems across multiple networks. You will operate as a blended team with government officials and the ISSM.
 
Tasks include:

• Produce high quality and timely deliverables
• Use eMASS, A&A process, and ACAS, and Xacta 
• Perform vulnerability scanning of credentialed and non-credentialed devices using ACAS; create and run ad hoc ACAS scans against specific targets
• Prepare scanning summary reports for the government showing credential scan rates and the numbers of dead assets, quarantine/pre-quarantine assets, and critical/high risks
• Coordinate with System Admin, Network Operations, and other staff to resolve issues identified in scans, including credential failures
• Seek A&A approval for over six systems across N/S/J and NSANet
• Develop and maintain authority to operate (ATO) package documentation and artifacts including scan results and STIG compliance artifacts
• Ensure STIGs are applied quarterly
• Execute Continuous Monitoring on systems having an approved ATO
• Process network connection requests from the NOC
• Interface with government officials in developing system/methods of connectivity as requests are isolated until the cyber team can scan them
• Conduct O/S reviews for compliance

Required Qualifications:

• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 Will consider HS with 14 years experience
• Requires DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II and IAM Level I certification
• Requires strong eMASS competence
• Requires strong ACAS skills in the ACAS analyst role
• Needs to understand and use the A&A process
• Requires familiarity with using Xacta repository
• Skilled in conducting vulnerability assessments
• Must be able to get and maintain an NSANet account
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
