Job Title: Historic Preservation
Location: Remote
NHPA / Historic Support Services:
- Historic Preservation document reviews for projects and grants submissions
- Perform desktop / online resource reviews of real property actions (ORP actions – leases, easements, licenses, property acquisition and disposal)
- Stakeholder engagement support (S106/NAGPRA) and supplemental information development.
- Section 106 documentation management past and present
- NHPA Compliance documentation package development for projects, grant submissions, NAGPRA regulatory documents
- Manage and track project design reviews, project mitigation requirements, and develop annual reports
Database/digital support:
- Perform Capital Asset Inventory (CAI) Quality Control Review and Updates
- GIS analyst level support in developing project level mapping of existing data
General Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Each individual will have 7 or more years related experience in their field of either Environmental, Sustainability, and Historic Preservation working with construction or real property projects/actions.
- Experience shall include projects in the VA, government, and private sectors.
- Experience shall include projects nationwide.
- Ability to work independently, with general direction and a minimum of supervision.
