Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector for several contract to perm opportunities. Candidates will provide assistance with the inspection, maintenance, and testing/trouble shooting on all aspects of low voltage fire alarm systems. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player.
Job overview:
- Responsible for reviewing system layouts, and coordinating with the systems and service departments for a successful project execution.

Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.

Responsible for inspecting and maintaining fire alarm systems.

Produce detailed inspection and deficiency reports in accordance with NFPA.

Responsible for delivering projects on schedule and within cost budgets.

Responsible for logging and transmitting inspection reports via laptop computers.

Oversight for project inventory and responsible for vehicle inventory.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Provide support, guidance, and expertise to the other inspectors.

Customer-focused; skilled in project and people management.

Ability to manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.

Proficient in issue resolution.

Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

Knowledge of fire industry.

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Must possess:
- A valid driver’s license
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred)
- FASA/BASA
