RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize base of security subject matter expertise and experience to engage with qualified prospects and assist them to conduct the project scoping and business arrangements necessary to meet/exceed their security objectives
- Develop and manage relationships with strategic clients and prospects to ensure they are delighted with our services and view MSA as a “client focused”, highly professional “go-to” organization for their specialized security needs
- Manage client and industry relationships such that they provide referrals and additional business opportunities. Build “Trusted Advisor” relationships
- Collaborate and engage withing the Allied Universal organization to find leads and opportunities for MSA solutions within the greater Allied Universal client portfolio (cross-sell)
- Manage and develop response to unsolicited sales inquiries and referrals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior civilian or military law enforcement experience, preferably New York Police Department
- Work history to include demonstration of:
- The ability to model strong oral, written business communication skills
- Ability to navigate through complex negotiations at the executive level
- Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the demographics of local market
- Knowledge and understanding of subject matter associated with deterrence, detection, and mitigation of the high consequence threat
- Working understanding of the business development process, including the creation and execution of a personalized plan to achieve assigned goals
- Basic understanding of the deal management and forecasting process
- Ability to delegate projects and tasks to team members, and effectively manage the procedural aspects until completion
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field of study
- Experience in managing client and business development relationships
