Job Responsibilities:
- The Data Scientist understands unit objectives and develops models to enable mission completion, along with metrics to track model progress and effectiveness.
- Analyzes algorithms with potential to solve customer problems, and ranks them by success probability.
- Explores datasets and verifies data quality to gain an understanding of relevant data, then identifies differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the machine learning model in an operational environment.
- Identify and condition datasets for machine learning test uses.
- Tune machine learning model hyper?parameters.
- Visualize and manipulate big datasets.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 10+ years of Data experience
- DoD Top Secret Clearance
